install problem

hello,

I am trying to install OSKit 0.97 on a RedHat 5.2 box, and am having
some difficulties...
I first ran ./configure --prefix=/usr/local
then when that was done, I did make.
When I attempted to make it, make spews out:

make[1]: Entering directory '/root/oskit-0.97/flask'
make[1]: Leaving directory '/root/oskit-0.97/flask'
make[1]: Entering directory '/root/oskit-0.97/flask'
../flask/mksecurity.sh gawk ../flask/security.prefix
../flask/security.suffix ../flask/security_classes
make[1]: execvp: ../flask/mksecurity.sh: Permission denied
make[1]: *** [security.h] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory '/root/oskit-0.97/flask'
make: *** [flask/all.MAKE] Error 2

Any ideas on what to do about this?
