Hi, 

We are adding some crypto functions (DES, SHA1, etc.) to GRUB.  It
stopped working when the stage 2 became about 48K byte size.  I think
it is because the text it too big and it overrides some data.  For
example, error message strings (err_list) are collapsed.  Is there
size restriction in GRUB (e.g. stage 2 must not be larger than 40K?)?
Is there any work around?
