BULLS VS. SUNS: THE NBA SEASON
Now Play With All 27 NBA Teams Through 82-Game Season

CHICAGO, IL, June 3, 1993--EA SPORTS a division of Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:
ERTS), today announced the release of Bulls vs. Suns: The NBA Season for
the Super NES- The game is led by the two conference finalists and
showcases the fierce competition and rivalries among all 27 NBA teams.
Game players can also select personal all-star teams from the starting
rosters of each playoff team or from the East and West All-Star squads.

With a battery backup, the game now provides full-season play. Players can
take their favorite team through the NBA season and track and save team
standings. Gamers can even trade NBA players to turn a lousy team into one
that competes for the NBA title. Individual player stats from the '92-93
NBA season are in the game--scoring averages, rebounds, free throw and
3-point percentages, assists, blocked shots, steals, and total minutes
played. In addition, stats for league leaders are tracked throughout the
season in five categories--points per game, total rebounds and minutes,
and free throw and 3-point percentages.

Using the custom team-builder, players can now send a hand-picked team of
players like Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, John Stockton,
and David Robinson onto the court against the World Champion Chicago
Bulls. Dream even further: Would a team of five Kemps be too quick for
five Patrick Ewings? Might a couple of Barkleys and a trio of Drexlers
against three Isiah Thomases and two Shaquille O'Neals be a mismatch--or a
major upset? Bulls vs. Suns: The NBA Season is full of fantasies like
these for the hard-core NBA fan.

Bulls vs. Suns: The NBA Season also allows for much more defensive control.
For example, game players can choose a full-court or half-court press, and
they can select how aggressively they want their players to defend in
specific game situations. They can also go for the steal, but they must be
careful; if they're too aggressive on defense, they're liable to get
burned for breakaway baskets, tire out their players, and foul more
often.

Like all EA SPORTS games, the players and their trademark athletic
attributes are based on real athletes. NBA players are rated according to
shooting and rebounding ability, free-throw accuracy, court speed, jumping
ability, and endurance. The game features signature slam dunks,
finger-rolls, and cross-over dribbles by front-line players.

A smart "coach" with a little luck will use his or her players' talents to
the fullest to battle throughout the season on the way to a world
championship. Players need to take injuries into account now and rely more
heavily on production from their bench players.

The game features realistic sound (including coaches who yell "Shoot it!"
as the 24-second clock winds down). Not only does one play the game the
NBA way, game players also have to coach like a pro. They'll have to keep
an eye on each player on the court and be ready to go to the bench at any
time. They'll have to take into account other factors, such as game
fatigue and one-on-one player match-ups.

Signature moves include Robinson's windmill slam, Stockton's
behind-the-back pass, Drexler's air-reverse slam, Scottie Pippen's
double-pump jam, and Kevin Johnson's windmill finger roll.

Game players will have to be wary of the refs, too--just like a real NBA
game. On-screen ref will whistle a 10-second backcourt violation,
traveling, and offensive and defensive fouls. And they watch the 24-second
dock, so be sure to get the shot off!

Accuracy from the foul line is another factor. Bulls vs. Suns: The NBA
Season features EA SPORTS' T-Meter free-throw, which controls the power
and accuracy of each free throw.

EA SPORTS "cameras" show the action all over the court, including instant
replays and scores from other games from around the NBA. There are even
pre-game and halftime shows with up-to-the-minute analyses of the game.
