CHICAGO, IL--June 3, 1993 -- Electronic Arts Limited, formed in April 1987,
serves the European market and distributes products developed in the U.S.
It also has exclusive European distribution rights for Broderbund Inc.,
Mindcraft Software Inc., Three-Sixty Inc., Bullfrog Productions Ltd.,
Millennium Software Ltd., Humongous Entertainment, Absolute Entertainment
Inc. and the Strategic Studies Group. Entering 1993, Electronic Arts Ltd.
has released over 600 products on cassette, disk and cartridge across 7
different machine formats, in 7 different languages. Electronic Arts Ltd.
is based in Langley, Berkshire and employs approximately 90 people.

Electronic Arts Ltd. is currently working with more than 20 external artist
groups. The company is focusing on development of high-quality, innovative
titles for 16-bit machines and has achieved success with European designed
titles such as Populous and Populous II, Birds of Prey and PowerMonger.

Electronic Arts Ltd. also converts entertainment software developed in the
U.S. to popular European machine formats and its multimedia software to
the European transmission format (PAL). This involves converting
successful MS-DOS based games such as John Madden Football, Road Rash and
Desert Strike onto leading European platforms, such as the Commodore
Amiga. Electronic Arts Ltd. sells both its entertainment and multimedia
products directly to over 50 distributors in 16 different European
countries.

Since the launch of the first 16-bit videogame platform in Europe in 1990,
Electronic Arts Ltd. has established itself as the leading third party
publisher of 16-bit videogames, with noted success attained by products
such as Road Rash, Desert Strike and EA Hockey.

A founder and the President of Electronic Arts Ltd., Mark Lewis has worked
for Electronic Arts for eight years. Lewis began his career with
Electronic Arts Inc. as a producer before setting up Electronic Arts Ltd.
Lewis, a graduate of Yale University, brought four years experience in the
computer industry to Electronic Arts. His experience with educational and
professional programming derived from his position as Managing Director of
Island Technologies Inc.

In the last year, Electronic Arts Ltd. won two of the most prestigious
awards in the European leisure computing industry, these being the
European Computer Trade Show Award for Software Publisher of the Year, and
the Annual 'Industry Dinner' Software House of the Year. 1992 also marked
the opening of sales offices in both France and Germany, as well as the
relocation of the parent European operation into larger premises.
