CHICAGO, IL--June 3, 1993 -- Electronic Arts Victor Inc. (EAV), established
October 29th, 1992, has shipped 21 products in its first 5 months of
operations. These include three SNES products including John Madden
Football, Bulls vs Blazers and the NBA Playoffs and Desert Strike; eight
Sega Genesis games including Team USA Basketball, Crue Ball, EA Hockey,
Madden Football, Road Rash, etc.; four Japanese PC conversions including
4D Boxing and 4D Driving, and several Mac and IBM localization titles.

Electronic Arts products are well received in the Japanese marketplace.
Bulls vs Blazers and the NBA Playoffs reached No. 2 on the SNES sales
chart. 4D Boxing climbed to No. 7 on the Japanese PC sales chart and
received the award for 'Best Conversion of a Foreign Title' from Log-In
Magazine. Team USA Basketball, Crue Ball, Hockey and Bulls vs Lakers and
the NBA Playoffs all charted in the top 10 on the Sega sales chart.

In this period of time, EAV's revenues grew to more than $8 million,
establishing EAV as a premier software publisher in Japan. EAV attributes
its success in achieving these revenues to the quality of its products as
well as the success of it marketing campaigns, including such activities
as tie-ins with the nationwide Lotteria hamburger chain and mass media
advertising.

EAV currently has 48 full and part time employees. More than half of its
employees are working in the area of product development. Currently in
development are original titles for both the SNES and 3DO platforms. These
titles are expected to ship in 1994.

This fiscal year, EAV is planning to ship more than 40 products including
titles for the SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega-CD, PC-9801, FM-Towns, Macintosh,
and IBM formats. In general, EAV will concentrate heavily on building
brand awareness and marketshare for EA SPORTS products, EA*Kids products,
and Origin products.

As Apple and IBM increase their marketshare in Japan, EAV will launch EA
EXPRESS, a service that will provide for the localization, timely
distribution, and strong customer support of US and European software
titles in Japan.
