September 16, 1993 -- John Hartigan, an internationally known developer of
interactive multimedia products, has established OptiView, a Multimedia
Consulting Company. OptiView has established offices in Knoxville,
Tennessee.

Headed by marketing executive John Hartigan, (formerly with Sony, Pioneer
and Philips) OptiView provides consultation services in interactive
multimedia product development for information products delivered on
optical media, such as CD-ROM, Laserdisc, CD-I and recordable CD systems.

Mr. Hartigan, who introduced the Sony Laserdisc and CD-ROM products into
the U.S. market, was responsible for the introduction of the Philips
Recordable CD system into the U.S. market. He has designed and produced
interactive multimedia information products in all the optical media
formats, Laserdisc, CD-ROM, CD-I, and Photo CD.

OptiView also provides market research and analysis of the optical and
interactive media markets, conducts focus group study and analysis of
interactive multimedia products, and provides interactive multimedia
project management.

A subsidiary company, The Great Smoky Mountain Electronic Publishing
Company, publishes background photography and clip art materials on
CD-ROM.
