Also Available...

PXB-721
72 Digital Input/Output

** Three 8255 PPIU chips, each providing 24 digital I/O lines
** switch selectable address
** Accommodates up to three QUATECH enhancement modules
** Optional 24 line buffer module

The PXB-721 is a 72 channel digital I/O expansion card. It incorporates
three 8255 prorammable peripheral interface (PPI) chips, each providing 24
digital I/O lines. Each 8255 consists of eight (8) bit ports, designated
Port A, Port B, and Port C. Port C may be divided into two individual four
(4) bit ports. In addition to the three ports, a control word is utilized
to program the various modes of operation.

PXB-160
16-Bit Parallel Digital Input/Output

** 16-bit digital I/O
** Latched input/output
** DMA and I/O modes
** Handshake signals available
** Programmable timer for interrupt or DMA transfer

The PXB-160 Parallel Expansion Board provides 16-bit programmable digital
input/output. The PXB-160 is intended for use with an IBM AT computer or
compatible. The digital input/output lines are latched and data transfers
from the computer to the board can be accomplished through either program
I/O or DMA transfer. DMA transfer can be either 8-bit or 16-bit. Data can
be latched into the PXB-160 by an external strobe or periodically by an
internal clock.

For further versatility, the PXB-160 may also be configured as two
individual 8-bit ports. Each 8-bit port can be programmed for either input
or output mode.

PXB-241
24 Digital Input/Output

** 24 buffered Digital I/O signals
** Switch selectable address
** External interrupt input

Available Software - drivers for BASIC, C, Turbo Pascal and FORTRAN

The PXB-241 allows parallel communication between the personal computer and
external devices. Each of the 24 digital signals is buffered to enhance
the drive capability of the card. The 24 signals are divided into three
8-bit ports, designated Ports A, B and C. Port C is further divided into
two 4-bit sections. Each port can be configured for either input or
output. The ports are controlled by an 8255 operating in Mode 0.
