ROAD RASH AND TWISTED PREMIERE ON 3DO AT JUNE CES

Chicago, IL - June 3, 1993 -- Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) has announced
the release of Road Rash: Blood of the Couriers and Twisted: The Sitcom of
Game Shows for the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer.

Road Rash: Blood of the Couriers is lawless high-speed motorcycle racing
game with bare-knuckle combat featuring blistering frame rates and
photo-realistic 3D road effect with texture mapping. A CD-quality full
stereo sound track featuring Doppler and echo effects provides a feeling
of distance and dimension to the sound effects.

Road Rashing is the latest underground craze sweeping California. It's
immoral dangerous, and illegal--the most fun to be had in leather! Rashers
race on public roads--screaming over self-styled 'tracks' through city
streets, freeways, canyons, and vineyards- punching, kicking, and clubbing
their way up the field. Some call * cheating-rashers call it fun. During
the race, players must avoid innocent pedestrians, belligerent cops, road
kill, annoying pooches, and tourist-filled cabs moving at a snail-like 55
mph--or must they? The spoils of victory are high: enough cash for
upgrades to Super or even Nitro bikes. The price of losing is higher
still: earning a reputation as a wimp! Extra cash for upgrades may be
earned by running high-risk courier jobs.

Players may choose from eight characters of dubious moral standing. Once
fully acquainted with each personality, players get to pulverize them in
either a single race slug-fest, or in the full Road Rash circuit.

Twisted: The sitcom of game shows--is a perfect example of a product that
would not have been possible before the advent of the 3DO Interactive
Multiplayer. It is a combination of boardgame, TV Show, strategic enigma,
and logic puzzle, and it features motion video, a CD-quality soundtrack,
and 24-bit true-color photo-realistic graphics. Motion video clips of real
movies are manipulated in unimaginable ways to form the most mind-boggling
puzzles yet devised.

Trapped in a twisted TV Land, the challenge is to save a video contestant
from eternal life in a game show! In this unique and intriguing game,
players pair up with digitized partners who talk and interact with them.
The challenge is to solve living jigsaw puzzles, zap commercials against
the clock, mix and match famous voices, and mastermind thousands of other
brain-boggling games.

This visually stimulating contest uses real people in a surreal world--the
characters are fully digitized actors who live out their captive lives on
the TV screen. Twisted is a fun game for the whole family, purveying a
surreal and comic nature that raises genuine concerns about its ceators!
