RUNES OF VIRTUE

Chicago, IL - June 3, 1993 -- Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) has announced
the release of Runes of Virtue: Darkwatch Warriors for the Super Nintendo
Entertainment System. The game is scheduled for a Christmas season
release, at a price to be announced.

Runes of Virtue is a fantasy role-playing game in the Ultima tradition, and
has been developed by Origin Systems, Inc. - a subsidiary of Electronic
Arts based in Austin, Texas.

Through the mystic moongate, lies the land of Britannia, where a world of
magic and adventure awaits the player. As one of four valiant champions,
the objective is to overcome treacherous traps and fantastic creatures on
the way to a final confrontation with the Black Knight.

Runes of Virtue is easy to learn, and emphasizes creative problem solving
over violence, making it ideal for beginning adventurers. With over 150
levels to explore, spread through 10 dungeons, Runes of Virtue is a quest
unlike any other for the Super NES.
