SISCO to Distribute SOFTING ISP Fieldbus Products in the U.S.

Sterling Heights, Ml, August 31, 1993 -- Systems Integration Specialists
Company, Inc. (SISCO), of Sterling Heights, MI USA, and SOFTING GmbH, of
Munich, Germany, announced today that they have entered into a product
distribution agreement that will authorize SISCO to provide SOFTING's
InterOperable Systems Project (ISP) fieldbus products to US customers.

As a distributor, SISCO will be authorized to sell SOFTING's ISP products
to customers within the US and Canada. SISCO will be responsible for all
pre-sales support, importing and customs clearance, and will also provide
some post-sales support to its customers. SISCO will also offer
integration, startup, training, and application development services to
those customers desiring such services. SOFTING will be responsible for
all development and product maintenance activities and will also provide
technical support when needed.

"As a company committed to the application of real-time communications in
manufacturing environments, the addition of the SOFTING ISP fieldbus line
is a natural fit for us," said Ralph Mackiewicz, Vice President of Sales
and Marketing for SISCO. "SOFTING's ISP products complement our existing
capabilities in the areas of PLC, DCS, and MMS communications and will
allow us to offer a broader range of communications solutions for our
customers."

"SOFTING is very pleased to be working with SISCO on the establishment of a
distribution channel and a technical competence center in the US," said
Dr. Manfred Patz, President of SOFTING. "It is essential for SOFTING's
business to have a distributor in the US which is able to advise companies
on how to integrate ISP with their products, to give product training, and
ensure fast product delivery."

The ISP products that will be distributed in the US comprise SOFTING's
entire ISP product line including ISP interface boards for the PC/AT, ISP
application software products for exercising and testing ISP networks and
ISP protocol software for use by OEMs in incorporating ISP technology into
their products and systems.

SISCO and SOFTING have had a long experience of cooperation together in the
past. SOFTING has acted as a technical competence center and reseller of
SISCO's Manufacturing Message Specification (MMS) products in Germany
since 1989. With the establishment of SISCO as a distributor of the
SOFTING ISP products, their cooperation is now even more substantial.
