Interlaced / Progressive Scan Converter

RGB Spectrum announces the development of the SynchroMaster(TM) 200, a high
resolution scan converter that converts bi-directionally between
interlaced and non-interlaced (progressive scan) signals.

SynchroMaster 200 offers two modes of operation: Interlaced to non-
interlaced conversion is used to eliminate flicker in an interlaced signal
prior to display on a monitor. The output has a horizontal scan rate
exactly double the input. Primary applications are in the display of
1024-1049 line interlaced images.

Non-interlaced to interlaced conversion is used to convert the output from
a non-interlaced computer display to an interlaced signal at one half the
scan-rate; the lower scan-rate signal can be accepted by light- valve
projectors and other devices that cannot display very high scan- rate
signals directly.

SynchroMaster 200 features autosync, RS-232 control, double buffering, and
freeze frame.
