ELECTRONIC ARTS ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF THE EPIC ADVENTURE TECHNOCLASH

Chicago, IL, June 3, 1993 - Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) has announced the
early August release of the epic adventure Technoclash.

Priced at $49.95 and designed specifically for the Sega Genesis,
Technoclash is also compatible with the new Sega 6-button controller pad
which will debut in late June at $19.99.

For gamers of all ages, here's the story: Technolords from the outer realm
have constructed an inter-dimensional portal, through which the
destructive Engine Man enters the Inner Realm--c land inhabited by wizards
and their apprentices.

The Engine Man is wreaking havoc throughout the Inner Realm, and something
needs to be done fast to stop the destruction. The fearless and talented
wizard Prince Ronnan has been chosen by the High Council of the Inner
Realm to destroy the engine men and their creator. To search and find the
creator the player must go through 7 levels (Caesar's world, junkyard,
desert, underground city, portal cavern, tween place and teg temple) to
the final destination back through the inter-dimensional portal.

Gamers play the role of Prince Ronnan, who can summon the aid of bodyguards
Faarg (not too bright, but loyal and fast on his feet; also a fast
shooter) and Chazz (the clear bodyguard choice in later levels because he
possesses more damaging spells and can also levitate) to help him in his
quest. He can also utilize a number of combat and non-combat spells.

The combat spells range from the Basic (the least powerful but an "endless"
weapon) to the Mondo (a spell that simultaneously blasts all enemies off
the screen). There is also a heal spell which restores life to Prince
Ronnan and his bodyguards.

Prince Ronnan also has the advantage of calling upon the eyes of his
ancient magical falcon, Indar. While the player (as Prince Ronnan) soars
through the Inner Realm utilizing Indar's eyes to scour the terrain and
locate all the Inner Realm's enemies, he is rendered invincible and all
action is benevolently suspended.
