Trilobyte, the creator of The 7th Guess, is the leader of multimedia
software development. Founded by industry veterans Graeme Devine and Rob
Landeros, Oregon-based Trilobyte incorporates rendering techniques which
are unsurpassed in the industry with high quality audio and composited
video.

Introduced in April 1993, The 7th Guest is set in a spooky 3D Victorian
mansion. As players explore the house, they meet a cast of ghosts, uncover
clues and solve a series of puzzles.

More than two years in development, the PC-based multimedia Game blends
video sequences of actors with 3D computer effects to create an
interactive haunted house so chillingly real that PC World called it "a
multimedia horror story that will tingle the spines of even the most
cynical adults," adding "the game looks, sounds, plays--arld scares-like a
Technicolor Surround Sound Hollywood Epic."

Praise for the product has been almost universal. Game Players magazine
said The 7th Guest "is the new benchmark against which all other games
will be measured." And PC Home gave the game high compliments, saying
"Multimedia has arrived, and its name is The 7th Guest."

Responding to the game's tremendous success, creative director Rob Landeros
said, "The phenomenal sales and critical success has been very exciting,
but the most gratifying reward was getting the highest rating in the
Computer Gaming World Reader's Poll. By voting us #1, the players have
affirmed that The 7th Guest is much more than flashy graphics and
pre-release hype. It has substance and entertainment value that lasts far
beyond the point of sale. It also indicates that even amongst the
hart-core gaming elite, there is an audience ar d a demand for our type of
entertainment products."

Following the unprecedented success of The 7th Guest, Trilobyte continues
to push the envelope further with an expected February 1994 release of
XIth Hour: The 7th Guest Part II.

Shot on location in southern Oregon, the game features twice as much video
as the original, returning players to the haunted mansion decades later to
pick up the story with new characters, puzzles and frighteningly-real
special effects sure to scare audiences everywhere.

XIth Hour: The 7th Guest Part II is being distributed by Virgin Games on PC
CD-ROM, Macintosh CD-ROM and 3DO formats. In addition, The 7th Guest is
soon to be released for Macintosh, Nintendo and Philips CD-I.

NEC's commitment to increase the performance level of Multimedia Players
will greatly aid in the end-user's ability to run high end multimedia
applications ant entertainment. Trilobyte supports NEC's new line of
MultiSpin CD-ROM readers and will include their drivers in pressings of
XIth Hour: The 7th Guest Part II and future products.
