EA*Kids Kicks Off School Promotion with Special Offer to Teachers

SAN MATEO, Calif., October 14, 1993 -- Between October 15, 1993 and January
31, 1994 EA*Kids will offer the purchase of the consumer version of Eagle
Eye Mysteries, the popular teenage detective mystery for computers, to
teachers nationwide at an introductory price of $16. This offer is good
towards the purchase of either the IBM (currently available) or the
Macintosh version (available in November, 1993). Electronic Arts will
honor this price for all school purchase orders that come in during the
duration of the promotion.

Teachers submitting a school purchase order to Electronic Arts Direct Sales
will also receive a FREE Eagle Eye Mysteries Teacher's Guide complete with
activities designed to assist teachers in using the software effectively
in the classroom. EA*Kids Teacher's Guides are written by experienced
curriculum developers.

Orders taken between October 15, 1993 and January 31, 1994 will receive an
additional 50% discount towards a future purchase of any EA*Kids Teacher's

As part of its ongoing support of the school market, EA*Kids is developing
teacher versions and lab packs for all EA*Kids products. Site licenses are
