Additional Locations

Longest Running EDI Training Course Now Covers EDIFACT, X.400 and the
Latest Transaction Sets from X12

Wilton, CT, October 11, 1993....TSI International today announced the 1994
schedule and new course topics for "EDI Multi-Level Training", the most
successful EDI training course ever developed. Over 8,000 people have
attended this course which is now beginning its twelfth year. New topics
for 1994 include the impact of EDIFACT (the international EDI standard) on
current X12 users in the U.S., planning for X.400, and the practical
considerations involved in implementing some of the new, more complex
transaction sets such as Healthcare Claims (837), Telephone Bills (811)
and Ship Notices (856).

The "Multi-Level" format was developed by Ed Guilbert, considered the
father of EDI, and Paul Lemme, well-known as an EDI authority and industry
pioneer. This format was created to address both the management issues and
implementation issues of EDI in a hands-on environment using real-world
examples.

Emphasis is placed on preparing attendees to participate in a pro-active
implementation of EDI within their company, regardless of industry. The
course material, which does not focus on specific EDI products or
services, also includes valuable reference information for implementing an
EDI program.

Mr. Lemme continues as the principal instructor of this popular two-day
course. Mr. Lemme, now a TSI International Vice President, has over 15
years of practical EDI experience involving nearly every industry now
using EDI. He has also been instrumental in establishing EDI objectives
and guidelines for many major corporations as well as entire EDI trading
communities.

The "EDI Multi-Level Training" schedule for 1994 has been expanded to
include course offerings at locations which now include Washington, D.C.,
Bannockburn, Illinois (Chicago area) and Wilton, Connecticut (New York
area). The 1994 schedule is attached to this release. The course is also
offered on-site to companies with a need to train multiple people. The
on-site course features training which can be tailored to the EDI
requirements and transaction sets associated with a specific industry.
