Trinzic Corporation's Forest & Trees Now Supports Microsoft's ODBC API

Phoenix, AZ, October 13, 1993--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ), a leading
provider of client/server development tools, announced today, at the
company's international users conference, a new Forest & Trees interface
for Open DataBase Connectivity (ODBC), Microsoft's API for database
connectivity. Forest & Trees is a leading desktop decision support tool
that can be used to develop EIS and ad-hoc query and reporting
applications.

Forest & Trees supports direct access to over twenty data sources. With
currently available interfaces to gateway software from Micro
Decisionware, Inc. and Information Builders, Inc., Forest & Trees users
can access an even greater number of data sources, including DB2, Oracle,
and Sybase SQL/Server. ODBC will expand this list to include any data
source that has an ODBC service provider. Trinzic has also announced
updated support for the Informix-Online RDMS server.

"We have been extremely pleased with the wide acceptance the ODBC
specification has achieved over a very short span of time," said Colleen
Lambert, Marketing Manager for ODBC at Microsoft. "Trinzic's Forest &
Trees software is widely used in decision support applications around the
world and is an important addition to the family of products supporting
ODBC."

"Adding ODBC support to Forest & Trees is another step toward our goal of
making Forest & Trees a corporate standard for decision support
applications," said Fred Lizza, VP and GM of the Data Access Group at
Trinzic. "As more vendors embrace the ODBC API from Microsoft each month,
the market for Forest & Trees increases."
