Trinzic Corporation's Forest & Trees Now Supports PICK Operating System
Databases

Phoenix, AZ, October 13, 1993--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ), a major
provider of client/server application development and data access tools
and services, today announced at its international user conference that
its award-winning data access and reporting tool, Forest & Trees, can now
access data residing in PICK databases. Liberty Software, a research and
marketing company that develops standardized Windows connectivity tools
for PICK databases, has implemented the Open Database Connectivity (ODBC)
specifications for PICK platforms.

Forest & Trees utilizes the Liberty ODBC driver for PICK to let users point
and click to access their PICK data, making ad-hoc analysis and reporting
of PICK data simple.

"There are currently over five million PICK database users worldwide who
until now have had no transparent, Windows-based solution for accessing
data maintained by their vertical PICK applications," stated Fred Lizza,
VP and GM of the Data Access Group at Trinzic. "Forest & Trees now breaks
through that barrier. "

A significant number of PICK applications are in place in small businesses
that need the flexibility of accessing their application data in an ad-hoc
manner. With Forest & Trees' Query Assist facility, users can point and
click at the data they need to access and analyze to make better
decisions. Forest & Trees develops the SQL query for the user and passes
it to the Liberty/ODBC driver which interprets the SQL to access the data
residing in PICK, and returns the result set to Forest & Trees.

Once in Forest & Trees, the user can graph and report on the data, view it
in multiple dimensions using cross tabs, or take advantage of the numerous
analysis features. Forest & Trees also provides a dialog-driven
environment for developing graphical, read-only data analysis applications
to support end-user decision making.

"The PICK users I have been speaking with are extremely interested in the
multidimensional analysis capability of Forest & Trees," said John Hunter,
President of Liberty Software. "The PICK user community has been looking
for a Windows tool to develop executive information systems for PICK
databases, and I know they will be very pleased with the power and
simplicity of Forest & Trees. "
