SAN JOSE, Calif.-October 11, 1993--Accolade, a leading publisher of sports
simulations, today announced the release of HardBall III: Diamond
Collection for IBM PC and compatible computers. Released just in time for
this season's World Series, HardBall III: Diamond Collection contains
Accolade's award-winning baseball simulation, Al Michaels Announces
HardBall III and its two add-on disks, HardBall III MLBPA Players Disk and
HardBall III Big League Ballpark Disk. The HardBall III: Diamond
Collection offers players over 650 of today's major league baseball stars
on the fields of 26 authentic big league ballparks. HardBall III: Diamond
Collection is available at a suggested retail price of $69.95, a savings
of nearly $44.00 compared to prices if purchased separately.

Al Michaels Announces HardBall 111 offers graphic superiority, endless
playability and Major League realism. It is a one or two playa game in
which playas assume the role of team manager supervising the players and
controlling their performance. Players can compete in exhibition games, a
complete 162 game season including an all-star game, play-offs and
championship games.

HardBall In features complete play-by-play commentary by legendary
sportscaster, Al Michaels. The product also offers over 25 different
statistical categories, instant replay, "team effort" play where your
teammates actually back you up during a play, and the ability to save and
print team and player statistics right from the HardBall III program.
Action game fans will be thrilled with the detailed graphics and realistic
player movements. Players can also create their own "highlight reel" by
saving their favorite plays to disk for later viewing.

The MLBPA Players Disk is the first product to feature digitized color
photographs of real players from 26 Major League Baseball teams. It
provides baseball fans with an entire league of players including the
names, faces and statistics of their favorite Major League players. The
product includes active players from both the National and American
Baseball Leagues and their statistics.

The Big League Ballpark Disk contains 18 stadiums (eight are included in
HardBall III) from both the American League and National League.
Additional season schedules, including one for expansion teams, are also
provided. Each of the stadiums are rendered in 256-color VGA graphics and
built to exact specifications to look and play like real life and include
such authentic characteristics as the correct distances to walls, and foul
territories.
