SANCTUARY WOODS SHIPS VICTOR VECTOR & YONDO: THE LAST DlNOSAUR EGG

Second Interactive Comic Book Adventure for Time-Traveling Heroes

SAN MATEO, Calif., September 27, 1993--Sanctuary Woods (NASDAQ: SWMCF; VSE:
SWD.V) will begin shipping The Last Dinosaur Egg, the second installment
in its Victor Vector & Yondo Series of I-ventures, interactive comic book
adventures of cinematic proportions for kids ages 8 and up. The Last
Dinosaur Egg will ship in dual media CD-ROM format, enabling exciting
playback on either Macintosh or MPC computers.

In the first Victor Vector & Yondo I-venture, the valiant Victor and his
digital dog Yondo recovered a valuable artifact in The Vampire's Coffin.
Now the digitized duo are back to embark on another mission the 22nd
century Museum of Fantastic Phenomena. As one of the museum' s archivists
in the CD-ROM adventure, the player guides his or her field agents deep
into the past to recover an egg from one of the last surviving and most
highly evolved dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus rex.

In the course of the story, Victor and Yondo encounter many obstacles
including a malfunctioning time machine, angry dinosaurs and their
arch-rival RAM Axis, a mysterious competitor who changes shape and form in
each episode of the adventure series. Luckily Victor and Yondo also get
help from a a fellow time-traveler--the intelligent, beautiful and
mysterious Delta Mode.

The Last Dinosaur Egg presents more than 100 colorful backgrounds and
characters created by Spiderman comic book illustrator Ken Steacy, many of
them animated. To enhance the visuals, the product includes digital video
clip, sound effects, original music and professional voice-overs.

The interface for The Last Dinosaur Egg has also been improved to create a
more intuitive environment. Yondo's Digital Backpack, which stores
equipment needed for their journey, now has the capability to carry
unlimited items; its text-based inventory has also been upgraded to a
graphic interface.

This time Yondo's collar, a communicator and databank device, can be
queried to retrieve the most recent information on dinosaurs and their
habitat.

Retrieving an egg isn't as simple as loading the prehistoric object into
the time machine and traveling back to the 22nd century. First Victor and
Yondo will have to travel from the 22nd Century and find their way through
the Precambrian era and the Triassic and Jurassic periods. They'll even
need to enlist the help of a dinosaur to carry them on its back. It'll be
tough, but a successful mission may mean saving dinosaurs from
extinction.
