PlayFreeLotto 7.0.2

What it is: Game that simulates any lotto and calculates all chances
Author: Ton Brand
Company: Ton's Software
License: freeware
Computer: Any Macintosh
Required: MacOS 7.5 or later and HyperCard Player
Abstract:
PlayFreeLotto is a freeware game that you can use to discover the chance of
winning the first prize in a Lotto. You can also find out what is your chance
to win other Lotto prizes or nil.
But PlayFreeLotto offers more. You can simulate any Lotto and play your
favorite numbers as if it were for real, but at no cost ! You can start a
series of up to 100,000 drawings to find out if and when you could have won
the first prize, or a lower prize. Further, you can use PlayFreeLotto to
evaluate the relation between statistical chances and reality, which will
make clear to you that playing Lotto to get rich is more likely to make you
poorer.

Subject: [*] RecklessDrivin 1.1

This is the complete archive, an update from version 1.0 is also available.

1. What is Reckless Drivin' ?

Reckless Drivin' is a new action game for the Mac. It's gameplay is
similar to it's predecessor, Burning Rubber, a Mac shareware game I
released in 1996. In Burning Rubber one had to drive a car through
2-dimensional levels as fast as possible, leaving as much destruction
as possible on the way.
Reckless Drivin' follows the same basic principle, however, it has
been completely rewritten from scratch, and it employs a new graphics
engine featuring smooth, dynamically zoomed, scrolling 16-bit
graphics. The physics simulation has been redesigned to realistically
resemble skidding and tire tracks on different road surfaces.

To learn how to play the game, click on the 'Help' button in the
Reckless Drivin' main menu, or just start a new game, and see for
yourself.

2. New in version 1.1 (10/8/2000)

-Created a workaround for a bug in older versions of Sound Manager
which would cause the game to crash when the player car crashes.
However, this workaround may result in stuttering engine sounds and
worse performance, so upgrading to a newer version of Sound Manager
is *highly* recommended.
-Fixed a memory leak bug which would cause the game to crash when
playing through all levels several times.
-Added the ability to load add-on level files created by RDEdit
(registered users only).
-Fixed a few misspellings in the game and documentation (and probably
introduced new ones).
-Pressing the esc key on the game finished screen will no longer
abort the game, just close the screen.

Subject: Can't Install Quicktime 4

I've been trying to install Quicktime 4 on a G3 desktop 64MG Ram running
System 8.6. The installer seems to work fine but when it connects to the
internet to complete the installation I keep getting a message that says
"An error occurred while trying to download the file VISEData. The
download has been aborted". I've tried with all extensions off and the
same thing happens. I had installed QT 4 on my powerbook G3 without any
difficulties and the two machines are configured virtually identically.
Unfortunately the Powerbooks's HD died on me so I can't attempt to copy
it over. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I have both programs running on my Beige G3 under Mac OS 9.04 and do
not experience the stalls/freezes that are plaguing you.

My guess is that you're experiencing an INIT conflict. Try starting
up with only the 9.04 base set enabled; then try the full 9.04 set
and see if the problem goes away. If it's gone with the restricted
sets, but present with your full set, fire up Conflict Catcher and
search out the culprit.

Hope this works for you . . .

I don't think your problem is down to Epson Share because the same thing happens to me and I don't have Epson Share. Check the fit to page option in Netscape. I can't remember which way it should be but suffice to say the opposite of what you currently have selected should work. If there's a patch or fix for this I'd be grateful to hear where I can get it, but this should work meantime.
Hope this helps.

I would try using a crossover ethernet cable. An ordinary ethernet cable won't work. The benefit of this is that it frees up a USB port for something else.
Hope this helps
