The latest driver does not seem to work.  I dropped it in place and
kernels now recognize the card.  Unfortunately, it appears there is a
silent failure somewhere since pingreply is failing to see any packets
sent its way.  I've run pingreply successfully with an etherlink III
card I hustled so I am guessing the problem is somewhere in the new
driver.

I'll probably just hang onto the etherlink III card and use that.
