For those who had always wondered what the difference between "oskit snapshot" and "oskit release" was, the difference is that if we ever make those documentation files be really up to date and coherent, that would be a reason to call it a "release". Until that happens, the most current "install documentation", such as it is, is on the web page and in the release announcements.
